Happy new Home

My girlfriends sister has just moved into her first home and so another chance to indulge myself and make a card. The first idea that popped into my head was too predictable (involved a house and some gift wrap) too close to a cliche for my liking. So then this came out of nowhere, I ran with it and I am fairly happy with it. A few things I would like to tweak but nothing major really.

Birthday Card for Logan

For those of you who don't already know, I have a son called Logan and it was his 1st birthday on the 1st of August. I spent a very long time trawling around the shops trying to find the right card for him but to no avail. So I made one myself and have to say I am very happy with how it came out. I like designing cards, they are fun and can be about absolutely anything, a great way to keep the mind busy.

Another poster for the Cecil Street Project. Trying to indulge and utilise the victorian theme without over egging it....... and i really like birds.

The cecil street project

I have been asked to produce some promotional work for the 'Cecil street project', which is a sweet arts venue in carlisle. The entire inside of the building is kitted out to look like an old victorian street, complete with  vintage street signs. You should go check it out and show some support.
