This one is actually the latest up to date illustration (not from my back catalogue of late work)

It was the marathon this weekend so i took some inspiration from it to produce this piece.

An illustration for creative magazine 'Anorak' created by Nichola Ridings. The archetypal trainspotter is the basis for calling someone an anorak, which basically means that they obsess over a passion or hobby. I thought this would be perfect for the magazine.

Incase you havnt guessed already, I got a bit behind on my Illustration friday commitment, so I am clearing a back log of illo's. This topic was dip, I decided to base my picture on Achilles. you all know the story so I wont bore you with the details.

Illustration Friday ( the worlds greatest...) detective

When the topic 'detective' came up I immediately thought of two great figures; Batman and Sherlock Holmes, and since I couldnt decided between the two i thought to my self, " I wonder what would happen if they were the same person?".

Alices Adventures In Wonderland Part 2

I know I said I was pretty much done with this one but the more I looked at the previous one the more I felt I was being too conservative. I got the old sketch book an pens out and whipped this one up. I feel a lot more happy with it as it incorporates a lot of original elements that I sketched in the first place but dropped as I thought they were a bit to quirky for the book. Let me know what you think.
